FORWARD Program “Development of Institutional Capacity of Communities in Establishing International Partnerships and Implementing Projects”

How can a community find reliable international partners, prepare a strong project application, and confidently go from idea to implementation?

We invite representatives of local governments to participate in the short-term online FORWARD program “Development of institutional capacity of communities in establishing international partnerships and implementing projects”.

Program period: April 01 – 09, 2026.

The program provides for 5 online trainings, as well as the opportunity to receive consultations from expert practitioners. It is designed for community representatives who seek to:

  • effectively prioritize project ideas in accordance with the community’s strategic and planning documents;
  • develop unique and competitive project proposals;
  • find opportunities for community renewal and development, as well as build sustainable international partnerships;
  • plan and manage the full project cycle – from idea to implementation.

Representatives of territorial communities who will participate in all trainings and complete homework and successfully pass the final test, in addition to knowledge and skills, will receive:

  • a certificate of completion of the program;
  • the opportunity to join the network of partner communities of the Center for Innovations Development, which will be the first to receive information about new opportunities for cooperation with the Center and develop joint projects.

All program participants will receive training materials based on the program results and a practical toolkit.
