The Centre for Innovations Development and the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture have signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The document provides for cooperation in the field of data collection, analysis and use for the formulation and implementation of Ukraine’s economic and social development policy.

Under the terms of the memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate on:

  • the collection, systematisation and exchange of data on the state of the economy and entrepreneurship;
  • the development of research methodologies, data analysis and the preparation of recommendations;
  • the preparation of strategic and policy documents;
  • the development of electronic registers, information systems and digital solutions to support entrepreneurship and enhance business competitiveness.

For us, it’s about ensuring that data and analytics don’t just exist in a vacuum, but form the basis for practical decisions – in public policy, business support and regional development.

“Digital solutions and electronic registers must form the basis of a high-quality, data-driven industrial policy. This will enable us to gain a clearer understanding of the needs of businesses and regions and to target state support more effectively”, emphasised Roman Kropyvnytskyi, Director of the Department of Industrial Policy at the Ministry of Economy.

“As part of this collaboration, we will focus our efforts on developing analytical and digital tools that enable us to identify growth areas more accurately, allocate resources more effectively, support the development of businesses, clusters, communities and regions, and build their capacity. This enables us to use data as a basis for developing value chains and making informed decisions,” said Kateryna Ivanchenko, Director of the Centre for Innovation Development.

The signing of the memorandum opens up opportunities for joint analytical work, the development of practical recommendations and the implementation of initiatives that will enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian businesses.
