A new phase of monitoring: The «InvestWatch» team reviewed project implementation in the Kirovohrad Region

Experts from the Center for Innovation Development conducted a monitoring visit to Kropyvnytskyi and Oleksandriia in the Kirovohrad region, where they visited seven sites.

During the monitoring visit, the team inspected:

  • the modernization of six educational institutions as part of the «New Ukrainian School» reform;
  • the construction of a medical and diagnostic wing at a cluster hospital;
  • a project to construct a multi-unit residential building;
  • a major renovation of the Regional Dental Association in Kropyvnytskyi;
  • the reconstruction of a residential building for the temporary housing of internally displaced persons;
  • major renovations of two educational institutions in Oleksandriia.

Projects in the communities are at various stages of implementation.  For example, the roof of the Territorial Dental Association building in Kropyvnytskyi has already been completely replaced. New utilities are being installed there, interior renovations are underway, and the surrounding area is being landscaped.

In the Kropyvnytskyi community, officials also reviewed the progress of a project to create a modern educational space as part of the «New Ukrainian School» reform. More than 20.1 million hryvnias have been allocated for this project from the state and local budgets. These funds are being used to renovate physics classrooms in four gymnasiums, set up the «Defense of Ukraine» center at the «Sokil» Lyceum, and create a new educational space at the «Maximum» pilot lyceum. At the time of the visit, procurement had already been completed, contracts with contractors and suppliers had been signed, renovation work was underway, and equipment was expected to be delivered. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.

In Oleksandriia, progress is being made on the modernization of two educational institutions. Here, the construction of shelters is nearing completion; work is underway to create barrier-free access through the installation of elevators; energy-efficient windows have been replaced; and the roof has been renovated at one of the facilities.

At the same time, some projects are still in the initial stages or are awaiting further funding. These include: the completion of a medical and diagnostic wing, the construction of a residential building, and the renovation of housing for internally displaced persons.

Our team continues to conduct monitoring visits to communities. These visits help us see how projects are being implemented in practice, assess progress, identify problems in a timely manner, and ensure the transparent use of public funds.
